i went onto the ticketmaster website last night to see how much it would be to see coldplay. i owe allison a coldplay concert b/c i didn't take her in college b/c i wasn't really into them. stupid me, right? they played at the bronco bowl here, and tickets were probably 1/4 of the price they are now. anyways, i log on and find 2 tickets in the 3rd level on the side of the stage...$70 something each. first off, that is way too ridiculous a price to see a band, i don't care who they are. (ok i might pay that for the beatles, but come on...coldplay? far from the beatles.) ok, so times that by 2 and tax we're sitting at around $150ish. oh, but wait...there's the ticketmast "convenience fee" at almost $15 a ticket. ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS TO SEE HUMANS JUST LIKE YOU AND ME PLAY CATCHY SONGS. outlandish. i gotta tell you though, i'm more pissed at ticketmaster than anyone else. i hate them. they are an evil corporation. that's why i'm boycotting them. no lie. i've already missed a few shows that i really wanted to see b/c of this boycott, but to be honest it's worth it. not that they're missing my money by any means, but it makes me feel as though i'm taking a stand against them. freaking ridiculous. join me, won't you?

Sorry, dude, I can't. I already bought my NKOTB tickets and paid the mysterious convience charge--whatever that is. I will join you after I pay that one off. ;)
I totally agree! Where is the convience when you have to drive somewhere to buy them? Maybe I would understand if it was an online thing.
